This role sits inside the International Originals VFX department, where you will own the full VFX production pipeline from development through final delivery on scripted and unscripted originals. It is a natural fit for a senior VFX production professional who is equally comfortable in a budget meeting and a vendor review session.

About the Role

The Global VFX Manager, International Originals works across Amazon’s Americas slate of original productions, coordinating between internal creative and post-production teams and external VFX vendors. Day to day, this means managing schedules, tracking costs, reviewing vendor bids, and keeping multiple productions on track through post-production workflow at the same time. You will be the connective tissue between Production, Post, Business Affairs, and the VFX creative leads on any given project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end VFX workflows across LATAM and Canadian productions, from early development budgeting through final deliverables.
  • Build and maintain VFX schedules that account for production delays, editorial changes, and vendor turnaround times across multiple episodic television and feature projects simultaneously.
  • Negotiate and track VFX vendor contracts in coordination with Business Affairs, ensuring scope, cost, and delivery terms are clearly defined and monitored.
  • Review VFX bids and cost reports, flagging variances and recommending solutions before they affect the broader post-production workflow.
  • Serve as the primary production liaison between on-set VFX teams and post-production supervisors, ensuring data capture and turnover protocols are followed from day one of principal photography.
  • Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish across internal stakeholders and third-party vendors operating throughout the Americas.

What You Bring

  • 8 or more years of VFX production management experience on scripted originals, episodic television, or feature film production.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage VFX budgets and schedules across concurrent productions at different stages of the pipeline.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with professional experience working in both languages across production environments.
  • Established relationships with VFX vendors operating in Latin America, the US, or Canada.
  • Strong working knowledge of VFX pipeline tools and post-production software used in current studio workflows.
