Key Responsibilities

• Execute compositing tasks to Rodeo FX standards, covering the full 2D pipeline including precompositions, element synchronisation, 2D tracking, keying, and colour integration.
• Create articulate roto masks and apply clean plate, paint, and rig removal techniques to support clean final frames.
• Integrate 2D and 3D elements convincingly, maintaining visual consistency with the artistic direction established for each project.
• Detect and troubleshoot technical issues independently, and flag upstream problems to the appropriate departments before they compound.
• Apply notes from supervisors and leads quickly and accurately, submitting shots only after a thorough quality control pass.
• Participate actively in dailies and production check-ins, sharing relevant shot information to keep the broader team aligned.

What You Bring

• Solid professional experience as a compositor in a VFX pipeline, with credits on feature film or episodic television productions.
• Strong command of Nuke, with the ability to build efficient, well-structured node graphs under production conditions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in rotoscoping, tracking, keying, and colour grading within a compositing workflow.
• The ability to read and interpret artistic feedback and translate it into technical adjustments without needing repeated direction.
• Comfort working in a structured studio environment with shared pipelines, naming conventions, and submission protocols.
