Job Position(s): Creative Production Assistant
Project Type: Film & Television
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

FOX Entertainment is hiring a Creative Production Assistant to join the FOX Sports promotional content team in Los Angeles, California. This role sits within the on-air promotions department, supporting the full production workflow for sports promo campaigns across FOX Network, FS1, FS2, and related properties. It is well suited to someone early in their production career who wants hands-on exposure to broadcast promo production at a major sports media operation.

About the Role

The Creative Production Assistant works directly alongside creative directors, producers, and project managers across pre-production, production, and post-production on promotional spots for some of the most-watched live sports broadcasts in the country. Day to day, this means time split between edit bays, shoot locations, and the office, keeping materials organized and production moving. The output is on-air promotional content, so familiarity with how a promo comes together from research through delivery is central to doing this job well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and track all project folders, footage, tapes, and production notes across pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Label, screen, log, and dub melts, film transfers, and other footage as assigned by producers and creative directors.
  • Research and pull images, music, clips, and archival footage needed for promo production, and compile clip reels for the edit bay.
  • Source props and wardrobe for shoots, and handle courier runs as needed to support production logistics.
  • Download, import, and export media files to support the post-production workflow across ongoing projects.
  • Assist in writing and producing on-air promotional spots as opportunities arise within the team.

What You Bring

  • Internship or entry-level experience in broadcast, sports media, or promotional content production.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with PC and Mac environments, QuickTime Pro, and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks across concurrent production timelines.
  • Comfort working weekends or late nights on short notice, as live sports production regularly requires it.
  • A bachelor’s degree in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Why This Role

FOX Sports reaches more than 100 million viewers in a single weekend and has carried the most-watched program in television, NFL’s America’s Game of the Week on FOX, for fourteen consecutive years, which means the promo work produced here lands in front of a genuine mass audience. The pay rate for this Creative Production Assistant role is $19.00 to $24.50 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off in accordance with applicable plan documents. For someone looking to build a career in broadcast promotion or sports television production, the scale and volume of content here is hard to match.

Apply now for the Creative Production Assistant position at FOX Entertainment and take your first step into broadcast promo production at one of the country’s largest sports media companies.
