About the Role

The Videographer sits at the centre of Sydney Social Marketing’s content production workflow, handling everything from shoot planning and on-camera execution to colour grading and final cut. Day-to-day work spans client briefs across industries, meaning the output shifts between brand content, social video production, and performance-focused ad creative depending on the week. Photography capture is also part of the role, either from existing skills or developed on the job with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute video shoots end-to-end, managing client briefs from pre-production planning through to camera operation on the day.
• Edit finished cuts to a professional standard using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable post-production software.
• Apply colour grading across deliverables to maintain visual consistency and meet the tone of each client’s content strategy.
• Contribute creative input during production, including framing choices, visual approach, and on-set execution of the concept.
• Capture photography on shoots as part of the broader social content deliverable package.
• Manage project timelines and deliver finished assets on deadline across a multi-client social video production slate.

What You Bring

• Mid to senior-level videography experience with a portfolio or reel that demonstrates range across content types.
• Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable non-linear editing system.
• Practical colour grading ability applied to social or commercial video production.
• A current driver’s licence for travel to shoot locations.
• Photography experience, or a clear willingness to develop it as part of this role.
