Video Editor & Motion Designer

Oceros, part of the RGML group, is hiring a Video Editor & Motion Designer based in Manchester, England. This is a post-production and motion graphics role sitting inside a social-first content studio, where the output is platform-ready automotive content built for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and paid social campaigns. It suits an editor who is equally comfortable in a timeline and in After Effects, and who understands how social media content workflow differs from traditional broadcast or long-form production.

About the Role

Oceros operates as a dedicated content production arm serving automotive brands, and this role sits at the centre of that output, handling everything from rough assembly to final delivery. Day-to-day, you will be cutting footage from in-house videographers, building motion graphics from scratch, and producing platform-specific versions across multiple active campaigns simultaneously. Post-production workflow here is structured around SLAs and client brand guidelines, so strong media management and version control habits matter as much as the creative work itself.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit automotive video content for organic and paid social distribution across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, producing platform-specific cuts that match current format requirements.
• Design and animate motion graphics from concept through to delivery, including kinetic typography, logo animations, lower thirds, and end cards built in Adobe After Effects.
• Develop reusable .mogrt template files to maintain brand consistency and improve turnaround speed across ongoing campaign work.
• Translate static brand assets supplied by the design team into animation, working within automotive manufacturer brand guidelines throughout.
• Support projects from initial style frames and storyboards through to final delivery, collaborating with account managers and in-house videographers across the full production process.
• Review and implement client feedback to a high standard, maintaining consistency across campaign content and applying those revisions to improve future edits.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience editing and delivering video content for social media platforms, with a portfolio showing motion graphics and animation work for digital campaigns.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, including template-building and asset management.
• Working knowledge of technical specifications and best practices across major social media platforms for both organic and paid social content.
• Experience working within brand guideline frameworks, ideally within a marketing agency or content production studio environment.
• An understanding of the automotive sector, or a clear ability to work fluently within a specialist vertical.
