Key Responsibilities

• Support story producers in research, subject outreach, and pre-interview preparation for documentary and nonfiction productions.
• Assist in organizing and logging field footage, maintaining shot logs and bin structures within the post-production workflow.
• Coordinate with production coordinators on scheduling, release forms, and location logistics for shoots in and around Atlanta.
• Help maintain production bibles, treatment documents, and development materials for projects in various stages of the nonfiction pipeline.
• Attend production meetings and take detailed notes that feed into continuity and editorial planning.
• Support the archival research process, sourcing and clearing historical footage and stills for use in documentary sequences.

What You Bring

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a film, journalism, media studies, or related degree program.
• Familiarity with non-linear editing environments such as Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Some hands-on experience with documentary production, student films, or nonfiction video content in any capacity.
• Strong organizational skills applied to production paperwork, including call sheets, shot lists, or clearance logs.
• Availability to work on-site in Atlanta for the duration of the Fall 2026 internship term.
