About the Role

The Social Media Growth Manager & Cinematic Video Editor will own the full content pipeline at Fajem & Co, from raw footage to published post across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and potentially LinkedIn. A typical day involves editing cinematic videos with music selection, colour grading, and motion graphics, repurposing long-form content into short-form social media assets, and reviewing platform analytics to adjust strategy. This is a founder-led content environment, so the person in this role shapes how a business brand is perceived by owners, investors, and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content using cinematic post-production techniques including colour correction, sound design, B-roll placement, and motion graphics.
• Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies with monthly and weekly calendars built around organic social media growth targets.
• Repurpose long-form video into Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, carousels, and written posts without losing the original editorial intent.
• Design branded graphics and social media assets that maintain a consistent visual identity across every platform managed.
• Study performance analytics, competitor content, and audience behaviour to test and refine hooks, thumbnails, posting schedules, and content formats.
• Build and maintain an organised library of footage, B-roll, graphics, and templates to support a repeatable content production workflow.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience editing cinematic video content for social media distribution, with a portfolio that shows measurable audience or lead growth.
• Proficiency in at least one professional editing application such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects.
• Working knowledge of graphic design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva for producing branded social assets.
• Solid understanding of organic social media growth strategy across multiple platforms, not limited to trend replication.
• Experience with founder-led or personal branding content aimed at business audiences rather than general consumers.
