Hyprwork is hiring a Videographer based in Vancouver, BC, Canada to support the personal brand of the company’s Founder and CMO. This is a combined production and post-production role covering lifestyle vlog content, talking-head segments, and podcast-style video, shot and finished by one person from first frame to final export. The role suits a self-sufficient videographer with a background in creator or founder content who is equally comfortable behind a camera and inside a non-linear editing workflow.

About the Role

This position sits outside Hyprwork’s core direct-to-consumer operation and functions as a one-person video production unit for a founder with a growing public profile. Day-to-day work alternates between shoot days covering lifestyle and talking-head content and edit sessions turning that footage into long-form videos and short-form vertical clips for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The shooting schedule is not fixed to a production calendar and shifts based on the subject’s actual schedule, so the workflow looks more like embedded creator production than a traditional shoot-and-deliver freelance arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera solo across lifestyle vlog, daily-routine, talking-head, and podcast-format shoots without the support of a full crew.
• Manage the complete post-production workflow including editing, color grading, sound cleanup, captions, and lower thirds or motion graphics as needed.
• Deliver finished long-form video and cut-down vertical content optimized for short-form platform specifications across TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Contribute lightly to content structuring and scripting in collaboration with the subject, helping shape what gets filmed rather than simply responding to it.
• Handle gear preparation and shoot logistics, including rental workflow when production requirements call for it.
• Maintain organized file management and consistent asset turnaround across both raw footage and finished deliverables.

What You Bring

• Hands-on shooting experience with demonstrated cinematography credits across lifestyle, talking-head, or podcast-style content production.
• Professional-level editing in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro with color grading and audio cleanup in your own workflow.
• Prior work filming and editing for a founder, public figure, or individual creator is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with short-form platform best practices and how pacing, hook structure, and framing differ across vertical formats.
• Based in Canada with no relocation or visa sponsorship required.
