About the Role

Working directly within the content production workflow at ProductionBase, this person handles both the camera and the timeline, which means the creative vision stays consistent from shoot day through the edit suite. Projects include retail launch coverage, office and on-location interviews, and short-form video production built for social distribution. A typical day might move from rigging a run-and-gun interview setup in the morning to cutting selects and laying down a rough assembly by the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera on a range of productions including event coverage, founder interviews, and branded short-form content shoots.
• Manage the full post-production workflow from ingesting and organising media through to color, audio mix, and export for multiple platforms.
• Develop short-form video concepts that are built to perform natively on social platforms, with an understanding of what drives retention and shares.
• Scout and assess locations, manage basic lighting setups, and make practical decisions on gear selection for each production context.
• Maintain organized project archives and versioned deliverables so that assets are accessible across the team and usable for future production needs.
• Collaborate with subject talent including founders and brand representatives to direct on-camera performance and capture usable material efficiently.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience as a Film-maker, Videographer and Editor across branded content, documentary, or short-form video production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and at minimum working knowledge of After Effects and Audition.
• A portfolio showing both camera work and finished edits across a variety of production types and formats.
• Comfort operating as a one-person production unit without relying on a dedicated AC, gaffer, or sound department.
• Strong familiarity with shooting formats and delivery specs for short-form and long-form digital distribution.
