About the Role

Visie is the membership magazine of ACV, CM, and beweging.net, covering themes including work, health, solidarity, and social justice across print and digital. The Video Content Creator / Video Editor works directly within the editorial team, developing and executing video formats for TikTok, Instagram, and the Visie.net website. A typical day involves shooting and editing original video, repurposing editorial content for digital platforms, and reviewing performance data to inform future content decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce original video content for social media, with a primary focus on short-form formats suited to TikTok and Instagram production standards.
• Edit footage using Adobe Premiere, maintaining consistent pacing, tone, and visual identity across all published video output.
• Adapt existing editorial content from the Visie print and digital archive into platform-specific video formats.
• Propose and help develop new video concepts and recurring formats in collaboration with the wider editorial team.
• Analyse performance metrics using Google Analytics and Google Ads to adjust content programming and distribution strategy.
• Contribute editorially to the broader Visie content agenda, bringing a video-first perspective to story selection and format decisions.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience in videojournalism, video storytelling, or a comparable content production role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and solid working knowledge of camera operation and post-production workflow.
• Hands-on experience producing content specifically for TikTok and Instagram, with an understanding of what performs on each platform.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Ads, or a clear willingness to build that knowledge quickly.
• Experience with podcast production is a plus but not required.
