FOX Entertainment is hiring for the Fall 2026 FOX Internship Program in Sports Production, based in New York, New York. This role sits within live sports television production, supporting the teams behind FS1 original programming and the broader FOX Sports broadcast operation, one of the most active live sports production environments in the country. It suits students with a genuine interest in sports media production who want hands-on experience inside a major network rather than a peripheral role.

About the Role

The Fall 2026 FOX Internship Program places students inside the production workflow of FS1 original programming and related sports broadcast content. Day-to-day work runs alongside producers, editors, and production staff who are actively building shows and live event coverage for a network that reaches more than 100 million viewers across a single weekend. The program runs September 14 through November 20, 2026, for 16 to 24 hours per week, structured around your class schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting production staff on FS1 original programming through research, asset gathering, and production coordination tasks tied to real air dates.
  • Assisting with sports broadcast production workflows, including footage logging, clip pulling, and editorial support using industry-standard post-production tools.
  • Working within a live television production environment where deadlines are tied to broadcast schedules, not internal review cycles.
  • Interfacing professionally with on-air talent and network executives as part of day-to-day production operations.
  • Contributing to project work across the FOX Sports digital properties, which may include FOX Sports app content and related sports media output.
  • Participating in FOX Master Classes covering production software, network operations, and industry structure relevant to sports television careers.

What You Bring

  • Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, at sophomore standing or above, with a strong academic record.
  • Working knowledge of post-production software relevant to sports broadcast, including Adobe Premiere, Avid, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition, iNews, or Dalet.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with FOX Sports programming, on-air talent, and the structure of live sports television production.
  • Strong organizational skills suited to episodic television or live broadcast workflows where multiple deadlines run simultaneously.
  • Ability to work on-site in New York, New York for the full program duration with independent housing and transportation arrangements.

Why This Role

FOX Sports has carried the most-watched television program in the country, NFL’s America’s Game of the Week on FOX, for fourteen consecutive years, which means interns here work inside a production culture built around the highest-stakes live sports broadcasts in the industry. The program includes structured professional development and direct networking with working professionals across the network’s sports media production divisions. The application deadline is Sunday, July 5, 2026.
