This is a one-day branded content shoot produced by Banter, a commercial and digital production company, in which performers and scripted pedestrians will appear in a hidden-camera flash-mob-style activation for a federally funded public safety campaign. The project suits actors and non-union talent comfortable with unscripted, reactive performance in a real-world location environment.

About the Role

This casting call covers both performer and pedestrian roles for a non-union branded video shoot tied to Palm Desert’s U.S. DOT Safe Streets and Roads for All planning grant. The concept places performers dressed in black-tie formal wear in a live street environment where they treat real and scripted pedestrians as VIPs, blending humor with a public safety message. The shoot is a single production day on January 29th, with virtual callbacks scheduled between January 13th and 14th.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scripted and reactive on-camera work within a hidden-camera branded content format on a live public street.
• Take direction from the production team to execute the flash-mob-style activation in coordination with real pedestrians and fellow cast members.
• Maintain character consistency across multiple takes in an uncontrolled outdoor production environment.
• Arrive wardrobe-ready and available for the full shoot day on January 29th with no guaranteed wrap time.
• Sign off on perpetual all-media usage rights as part of the flat-rate buyout agreement for this commercial production.
• Work as a local hire, as no travel or accommodation expenses will be covered by the production.
