Senior Videographer and Editor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Videographer and Editor to join our creative team at Arc Media Australia in Melbourne. This full-time role will involve capturing compelling visual content and expertly editing it to bring our clients’ stories to life. This role will have a heavy focus on architecture, high-end real estate and design/construct projects.

What you’ll be doing

1. Shoot high-quality video footage using professional cameras and equipment

2. Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos that meet the client’s vision and objectives

3. Collaborate with the creative team to ideate, storyboard and plan video projects

4. Manage video projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets

5. Stay up-to-date with the latest video production and editing technologies and techniques

What we’re looking for

1. Extensive experience as a professional videographer and editor

2. Proven experience editing real estate and architecture videos.

3. Familiarity with social media content trends and best practices.

4. Excellent technical skills in video capture, lighting, audio and post-production

5. Strong proficiency in video editing software, primarily DaVinci Resolve

6. A keen eye for visual storytelling and the ability to translate creative concepts into compelling video content

7. Excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

8. A passion for the industry and a desire to stay ahead of the curve in video production trends and techniques

9. Must have Australian work authorisation and eligibility to work in Australia
