The role also carries senior editorial responsibility, including coverage for the Executive Director of Content Creation when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-platform content production across the Middle East from initial pitch through final delivery, maintaining CNN’s editorial standards at every stage.
• Identify and develop new programme, show, and series concepts, including opportunities to grow existing sponsorship relationships into broader content campaigns.
• Commission and manage productions filmed on location across the region and internationally, coordinating logistics, risk management, and regional regulatory compliance.
• Partner with CNN editorial teams, section editors, and on-air talent to ensure feature content aligns with network-wide audience growth priorities.
• Track production budgets across campaigns, managing spend to ensure on-time delivery within agreed financial targets.
• Use audience performance data to shape content strategy for both sponsored and unsponsored feature campaigns across broadcast and digital platforms.

What You Bring

• Extensive experience in an editorial leadership role within digital-first, multi-platform content production for a global broadcast or streaming audience.
• A commissioning and producing background that spans premium feature content across news, business, travel, style, or sport.
• Deep Middle East regional expertise, including business and economic literacy, geopolitical awareness, and cultural understanding relevant to international newsgathering.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary editorial teams and delivering content against defined performance goals.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and editorial standards applicable to international feature production.
• Arabic or other regional language skills are desirable.
