Minecraft Gameplay Actor

Roster manages the hiring process for the top global creators and brands. Catface Inc., a YouTube entertainment company home to channels including Aphmau with more than 28 million combined subscribers and 300 million views per month, is on the hunt for a Contract In-Game Body Actor to bring characters to life across their story-driven gaming content! We’re helping them fill this position.

If you’re a gamer and performer who loves narrative storytelling and wants to make an impact in the kids and family content space, this is the right role for you.

Requirements:

• You’re able to work within Central Time (CT) to align with Catface’s recording schedule
• You have at least two years of Minecraft experience and strong in-game character performance skills
• You have strong improvisation skills and comedic timing
• You’re experienced with recording software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar tools
• You have a microphone suitable for clear reference audio, headphones, and a high-speed internet connection
• You have a computer capable of running modded Minecraft smoothly (e.g. NVIDIA graphics card, at least 16 GB RAM)
• You’re flexible and able to record with as little as 24 hours’ notice
• You have a performance reel or gameplay sample demonstrating previous in-game character work (required)
• Roblox experience, modded Minecraft experience, or a background in voice acting is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Operate characters in-game during recording sessions, performing scripted and improvised actions (no mocap or greenscreen)
• Follow blocking and movement instructions to match the tone and pacing of each scene
• Perform vocal reference in character style — your voice and likeness will not be published
• Adapt your performance to meet Catface’s tone, quality standards, and family-friendly audience expectations
• Maintain professionalism throughout all recording sessions
• Provide weekly availability and attend scheduled sessions promptly, including occasional after-hours recording
