About the Role

Reporting to the SVP of Post Production and VFX, the Director Post Production TV works directly with showrunners, producers, and finishing teams to keep scripted projects on schedule and on spec across domestic and international platforms. Day to day, this person is managing vendor relationships, reviewing VFX budgets, coordinating tax incentive documentation, and making sure delivery standards hold across every project on the slate. It is a cross-functional role that requires equal fluency in post-production workflow and production finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee post-production workflows for assigned scripted television projects from pre-production through final delivery, maintaining consistency across network and platform partners.
• Partner with showrunners and producers to build post schedules, define staffing structures, and set technical strategy for each production.
• Manage VFX budgets across multiple concurrent projects, including staffing models, vendor costs, and resource planning against creative scope.
• Identify and manage global VFX vendors and main title houses, monitoring performance against creative, technical, and delivery expectations throughout production.
• Work with production and finance teams to track qualified spend and support documentation required for regional tax incentive programs tied to VFX and post-production costs.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across productions, and mentor junior members of the post team.

What You Bring

• 8 or more years of experience in post-production, VFX, or production operations within a studio, network, or production company.
• Proven track record managing post-production workflow and VFX pipelines on scripted episodic television.
• Direct experience managing global vendor relationships and overseeing VFX budgets across multiple productions simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of regional tax incentives as they apply to post-production and VFX spend.
• Strong understanding of delivery standards across major streaming and broadcast platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in film or television production.
