Costume Seamstress

Overview:

We are seeking a creative and skilled Costume Seamstress to join our team.

ProElvisJumpsuits is a leading producer of high end stage costumes for Elvis Tribute Artists. Our small team in Nanaimo painstakingly creates intricate garments for our worldwide clientele.

Duties:

– sew high end stage costumes

– Cutting from our jumpsuit patterns

– decorating garment with nailheads on our kick press machine

– daily communication with the rest of the ProElvis team

Qualifications:

– strong attention to detail

– experience with industrial sewing equipment

– be able to work with a high level of efficiency and accuracy

– willing to adapt to shifting tasks and come up with creative solutions

– 3 years professional costuming experience in theatre, dance, or film, or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
