About the Role

Babel Audio is seeking professional French-speaking (France) voice actors for a solo performance project. Your performances will be used to train AI systems to better understand and express human emotion.This is interpretive, character-driven work that requires genuine craft, and we have structured this engagement to reflect that.

You will receive a script and scene brief, study the emotional context, and deliver a performance that is true to the character and moment. The scenes are specific and emotionally rich. You might perform as:

• A bride standing at the doors, seconds before she walks down the aisle
• A father meeting his newborn child for the very first time
• A shepherd spotting a wolf in the distance, watching the herd
• A doctor delivering news of a patient’s passing to their family
• A runner who has trained for years, with the finish line finally in sight

Recordings are under one minute. You select which scripts to take on, and you work entirely on your own schedule.

Who You Are

• Native-level fluency in French (France)
• Professional background in voice acting, dubbing, narration, audiobook recording, or similar
• Able to deliver expressive and engaging vocal performances across a variety of styles and emotions
• Comfortable interpreting a scene brief and working independently with minimal direction

Compensation

• $150 USD / recorded hour
• Additional performance-based incentives may be available

Technical Requirements

• External microphone; pop filter or windscreen strongly recommended
• Quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment
• Stable internet connection capable of supporting smooth audio recordings
