What This Role Actually Is This is a concept-to-camera role. Equal parts creative strategist and hands-on cinematographer. Your job is to make Neato’s brands impossible to scroll past. You’ll develop the idea, light the set, operate the camera, and carry it through post. The concept and the camera are both yours, every week, in equal measure. You’ll join our Creative Studio in Las Vegas at a key moment. New equipment, a larger space, and a growing team mean there’s real opportunity to shape how content gets made and define what this studio becomes next. What You Will Own End-to-end video production for Neato’s brand portfolio. Full stop. Amazon performance content. Product videos, UGC-style content, and 6, 15, and 30-second spots built to convert. This is the clearest line between your work and revenue. TikTok Shop and TikTok Live. A growing channel where you’ll help build the playbook, create content, and support live selling formats. Cinematography and production. Operate camera across a range of setups, from solo UGC shoots to larger productions. Build lighting and looks from scratch. Editing and post-production. Handle pacing, captions, and formatting for each platform. Work closely with post to scale output. Studio operations. Manage gear, coordinate equipment needs, organize footage, and maintain a production-ready environment. What a Typical Week Looks Like Concepting new video ideas tied to campaigns and product launches Shooting in studio, from solo setups to directed productions Editing and formatting deliverables for Amazon and TikTok Reviewing performance data and adjusting creative based on results Staying current on trends, formats, and hooks that drive conversion Coordinating with contractors when production needs scale What Success Looks Like (12 Months) A repeatable, high-output video engine that consistently drives conversion A defined TikTok Shop and Live strategy with measurable traction Elevated creative quality across all content A scalable production pipeline with post-production A reliable contractor network for larger shoots Direct contribution to revenue through content that performs We don’t care about volume for the sake of volume. Who Thrives Here You think about the first two seconds of a video before anything else You’ve made content that performs, not just content that looks good You’re comfortable in fast-moving environments and can keep pace You take ownership from concept through final output You enjoy building systems more than maintaining them Must Have Strong cinematography fundamentals across camera, lighting, audio, and grip Experience producing short-form, conversion-focused content Proficiency in post-production tools like Premiere and After Effects Experience editing for platform-specific formats Proven ability to manage contractors and scale production Ability to execute independently without heavy oversight Bonus eCommerce, Amazon, or CPG experience TikTok Shop or TikTok Live experience Comfort using AI tools to accelerate workflows On-camera presence for UGC or live selling Experience in performance marketing environments How Success Will Be Measured Conversion performance of video content Output consistency without loss of quality TikTok traction and revenue impact Speed and efficiency of production Overall creative quality and brand consistency Ability to scale production effectively How This Role Fits The Creative Director sets the strategy.
