*Project Manager – Tkemlúps Contracting*Kamloops, BCFull-Time (Permanent)*About Tkemlúps Contracting*Tkemlúps Contracting is the construction arm of Tkemlúps te Secwépemc (TteS), part of the Business Group of Tkemlúps te Secwépemc under Sc.wénwen Economic Development Corporation (SEDC).Tkemlúps Contracting has field teams that have worked together for over 10 years, and a management team with over 80 years of industry experience. We deliver high-quality workmanship at fair market prices, having completed numerous projects across the Kamloops area.As a quickly growing organization, Tkemlúps Contracting is focused on servicing the Municipal, Land Development, Civil, Industrial, and Mining sectors within the Kamloops and regional market(s).*Position Overview*As Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing various projects within the company. As a permanent full-time position, the *Project Manager* will report to and work closely with the *Operations Manager*, supporting the pursuit and acquisition of projects as well as building out company systems and processes. The ideal candidate takes great pride in ensuring projects are executed to the highest level of quality while ensuring Tkemlúps Contracting is represented to the best of their ability, at all times.This role is based primarily in *Kamloops, BC*, with limited travel required as per project requirements. Additionally, this role requires extensive experience in Indigenous relations to ensure successful collaboration with Indigenous communities, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.*Key Responsibilities:** Lead and facilitate multiple projects through full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are executed safely, on budget, and to the highest quality standard.* Build and maintain respectful, reciprocal relationships with industry as well as Indigenous communities and stakeholders, ensuring cultural sensitivity and alignment with Indigenous governance structures.* Lead and collaborate with team members to develop detailed project budgets, monitor cost performance, and support financial forecasting.* Positively represent the company in business with clients, TteS, Indigenous Communities, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other public and/or private agencies and organizations.* Estimate and support estimating and proposals for project pursuits.* Support the hiring and mentorship of personnel at all levels across projects.* Support field operations by assisting with on-site challenges and working through the field supervisory team to maintain productivity and safety.* Forecast, plan, and monitor labour and equipment needs across projects to support resource management company wide.* Effectively communicate project expectations to project teams and clients in a timely, professional manner and on an ongoing basis.* Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including correspondence, RFIs, change orders, and daily reporting.* Review and approve invoices and progress claims, verifying quantities, unit rates, and percent-complete, and lead the preparation of the monthly progress submission.* Support implementation and refinement of company software, systems, and processes.*Qualifications & Experience** Engineering/Science/Business Degree, or graduate of an applicable technical diploma program, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.* Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry with minimum 5+ years focused on civil construction.* PMP or equivalent program considered an asset.* Extensive knowledge and experience with various construction standards and contract models (MMCD, CCDC, Building Codes, CSA, etc.).* Extensive estimating experience, including the use of estimating software (Heavybid, Bid2Win, etc.).* Experience working with Indigenous communities, governance structures, consultation processes, and engagement best pra
