The Opportunity

We’re looking for experienced Hair & Makeup Artists to support a specialised visual review project.

This role involves reviewing high-quality image sets and providing detailed professional feedback on hair styling, makeup application, blending, technique, texture, and overall presentation. Your expertise will help ensure visual accuracy, consistency, and professional standards across a large dataset.

This is fully remote and task-based work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carefully reviewing images featuring a variety of hair and makeup styles
• Evaluating application quality (blending, colour matching, undertones, lace lines, flyaways, symmetry, finish, etc.)
• Providing structured written feedback using clear, concise explanations
• Applying consistent judgement across multiple images
• Flagging technical inaccuracies or unrealistic styling elements

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years professional experience as a Hair and Makeup Artist
• Strong understanding of skin tones, undertones, textures and lighting effects
• Experience working across diverse skin tones and hair types
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written English skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to have:

• Experience in editorial, fashion, film, bridal, or commercial photography
• Experience assessing or training others
• Portfolio demonstrating close-up work
