Background actors needed for research study

Origin Films is seeking participants for a paid in-person research study focused on human communication and body language used in AI training datasets. Participants will attend a scheduled session at our office on King St West in Toronto and take part in casual, one-on-one conversations while being recorded via webcam. The recordings help train AI systems to better understand facial expressions, tone of voice, and body language in natural conversation. Participants’ likeness and voice will not be cloned or replicated. 

Take part in casual, one-on-one conversations while being recorded via webcam. Participants can only do a 1-day session each.

Responsibilities
– Participate in relaxed one-on-one conversations with different people during the session
– Be recorded via webcam while speaking naturally in a conversational setting
– Follow instructions from the research team during the session
– Review and sign a consent form outlining how recordings are used for AI training datasets
– Arrive on time for your scheduled session at the King St West office location
– Maintain professional and respectful communication during recorded conversations

Requirements:
– Must be 18 years of age or older
– Native English speaker with clear communication
– Must be a resident of Canada with the right to work
– Comfortable being recorded on video for research purposes
– Cannot have a long beard or anything obstructing the face
– If you wear glasses, you must be comfortable removing them during the interviews
– Reliable and able to attend a scheduled in-person session in Toronto
