Role Description

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to serve as Simulated Patient Actors for virtual clinical training sessions with family medicine residents preparing for the CCFP exam.

Simulated Patient Actors play a critical role in medical education by portraying realistic patient scenarios based on detailed case profiles. Residents will interact with you as they would with a real patient. They will be asking questions, assessing symptoms, providing counseling, and developing management plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students interested in healthcare careers or medical students seeking experience in medical education and clinical communication.

Required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to memorize and portray details consistently
• Reliable internet connection and access to a quiet private space for virtual sessions
• Professionalism and punctuality
• Comfort appearing on camera
• Interest in medicine, healthcare, and medical education

• Undergraduate students interested in medicine, nursing, or allied health careers
• Medical students or individuals with healthcare exposure
• Acting, improv, teaching, or communication experience
