Senior Gen AI Solutions Engineer (VFX)

Experteer Overview You will shape and deliver production-ready generative AI workflows that integrate into modern media pipelines. In this role you work with cross-functional teams to translate new AI capabilities into practical, artist-facing tools and scalable systems. You apply VFX-domain knowledge to align tooling with real-world creative workflows and iterate from concept to deployment. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with opportunities to influence product and research directions. Your work enables artists to leverage AI to create, iterate, and deliver high-quality media at scale. Compensation / Benefits • Design, build, and iterate on custom generative AI workflows with node-based systems (e.g., ComfyUI) • Prototype and refine artist-facing tools that integrate AI into production pipelines • Write and extend code for automation, backend services, and pipeline tooling • Collaborate with research, product, platform, design, and engineering to translate capabilities into usable solutions • Apply production experience to ensure tools fit real-world creative workflows and constraints • Incorporate feedback to improve usability, performance, and reliability of tools • Own solutions end-to-end from concept to deployment, documentation, and iteration • Contribute to engineering and workflow best practices for scalable AI systems Tasks • 7+ years in creative tooling for VFX, animation, or high-end media production • Hands-on experience with node-based generative AI systems (e.g., ComfyUI) and ability to customize • Strong Python programming skills for building tools and automation • Understanding of diffusion-based generative models and inference workflows • Experience integrating AI tools into DCC apps/pipelines (e.g., Houdini, Nuke, Maya, Blender, Unreal) • Experience designing reliable systems in cloud or hybrid environments • Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote-friendly setting and collaborate across teams • Clear communicator bridging creative and technical perspectives Key requirements •
