Math & Movement is seeking a confident, energetic on-camera Educational Presenter / Performer to bring our movement-based math lessons to life through engaging video content. In this role, you’ll model how our math activities work, demonstrate lessons with clarity and enthusiasm, and help educators and families see what active learning looks like in action.

You’ll use movement, expressive communication, and a playful teaching style to make math feel accessible, joyful, and memorable for students of all ages. This paid position offers a creative, collaborative environment where education, movement, and storytelling come together.

Responsibilities

• Perform and demonstrate Math & Movement lessons in recorded videos and occasional live or interactive settings
• Clearly model math concepts using movement, physical cues, and verbal explanation
• Engage the camera with warmth and energy to help teachers and students understand how lessons work in real classrooms
• Collaborate with the Math & Movement team to plan, rehearse, and refine lesson demonstrations
• Use strong communication and presentation skills to explain activities in a clear, encouraging, and age-appropriate way
• Incorporate movement, rhythm, and body awareness to support learning and engagement
• Work comfortably with children in educational settings when needed, ensuring a positive, safe, and inclusive experience
• Participate in rehearsals, filming sessions, and occasional promotional or training content

Experience

• Experience performing, presenting, teaching, or appearing on camera (education, theater, fitness, or youth programs welcome)
• Proven ability to engage audiences through expressive communication and clear instruction
• Experience working with children in educational, enrichment, or movement-based programs is highly preferred
• Background in teaching, education, performing arts, fitness, or youth programming is a plus
• Comfort using movement, dance, or physical activity as part of instruction or performance
