Senior Technical Designer

Experteer Overview As a Senior Technical Designer, you will create game tools and features in Unreal Engine, UEFN, and Verse, and prototype and validate gameplay elements in development and live service contexts. You will support designers and engineers on feature development, performance, and validation, while collaborating to optimize pipelines and tooling. You will review content for technical quality and help diagnose and resolve in-game issues. You will document technical specifications and work with cross-functional teams on a groundbreaking Disney project. Compensation / Benefits • Create game tools and features using Unreal Engine, UEFN, and Verse in development and live service environments • Guide design, prototyping, and validation of game features • Support designers and engineers on feature development, performance, and validation • Collaborate to optimize tools and pipelines for the project • Identify opportunities for tool and process improvements • Review content for functionality and technical quality • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve in-game issues with other developers • Write, update, and maintain detailed technical documentation Tasks • 5 years of game development experience with at least one shipped title • Strong knowledge of Unreal or UEFN; familiarity with Blueprints or Verse scripting • Solid understanding of the video game development process • Strong analytical skills • Ability to adapt quickly to new situations • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Creative problem-solving and a passion for innovation • Appreciation for Disney IP, characters, lore, and related media and aesthetics Key requirements • health and savings benefits • educational opportunities • special extras
