Freelance Video Editor – Actor Showreel

The project involves editing a 75 to 90 second actor showreel, with all footage to be captured on-site in Jaen, Spain. The script is already prepared, and the focus is on creating a compelling, professional-quality reel for a personal portfolio. The role requires full on-site participation throughout the project, making it well-suited for editors who are comfortable working closely with talent and adapting to the creative needs of a live shoot.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, particularly for showreels, short films, or similar creative projects
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong sense of narrative pacing, visual composition, and audio synchronization
• Ability to collaborate effectively with actors and directors on set
• Willingness and ability to travel to Jaen, Spain for the duration of the shoot
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Portfolio demonstrating previous work in showreel or film editing
• Availability for a single, on-site project engagement
