Nick Quenville is a Vancouver based director of photography and filmmaker with experience in long and short-form documentaries, as well as doc-series. His passion lies in telling character-driven stories of social and environmental relevance, from the benefits of gardening for heroin addicts, to the repurposing of World War II warships to create artificial reefs. Nick has always been intrigued by nature’s wilderness and how it impacts the people and wildlife that inhabit it. In 2016, Nick jumped at the opportunity to become Wild Bear Rescue’s Director of Photography and only cameraman allowed inside the Northern Lights Wildlife Shelters’ bear enclosures. As a visual storyteller, his goal is to open people’s eyes to the beauty in things that they most commonly overlook, misunderstand, or take for granted.
