Volunteer Location Sound Mixer in New York!!

Happy new school year to those who are in school or start school today, like myself haha. I have been working all spring and summer on my thesis film, Al-Domiah, meaning The Doll in arabic. I am the writer and director of Al-Domiah and I am currently in pre-production for it, however now things are rapidly approaching. The producers and I are searching for a person who can double up as a sound mixer/boom op.

This is an international film that will be shot in beautiful Kuwait In Shaa Allah (God Willing).

We are looking for someone experienced in exteriors and interior sound. Someone who knows how to navigate background noise and such.

Logline: Amal, an earnest, but poor 8 year old girl, dreams of having a doll. When her father denies her this request, she sets about trying to earn the money for one herself with the help of her neighbor Noor.

Shoot dates: January 3-10th, 2020. So you would be flying in ideally on the 1st or the 2nd.

Although this is a student thesis film, this is also a passion project and everyone working on the film is connected to the story and therefore are dedicating their time and effort.
