Shooting Dates: TBD (End of April or Early May). Approx. 4 days of shooting.
Production: Short Film
Location: London, Ontario (must be able to get here)
Compensation: Unpaid. Food provided on production todays. Copy of final film.
Synopsis:
Carol researches for a school assignment about someone she considers a hero. She wants to write about her father, but after a conversation with her older step sister (mother’s side), she discovers that her father is not the hero she thought he was.
Eric (Supporting)– 40s. Male. Caucasian.
The distant father to Carol. He takes pride in being a “good father” but his priorities have always been himself over his family. Charming to the point of manipulative.
Physical characteristics: tough, rough.
Positive Traits: smooth talker, sentimental, relaxed
Negative Traits: sly, liar, manipulative
Sarah (Supporting) –mid-20s. Female. Caucasian
Carol’s older sister. She is her legal guardian after adopting Carol 2 years earlier.
Very protective of Carol.
Physical characteristics: long hair (past shoulders), healthy looking
Positive Traits:protective, fun, very mature
Negative Traits:uptight, overprotective, nosy
Young Sarah – Late Teens. Female. Caucasian.
Physical characteristics:long hair (at least shoulder length), healthy looking

***Self-tape auditions will be held for Eric and Sarah, though may be casted based on demo reel alone. Young Sarah will be casted based on headshot and availability.
