Videographer/Video Editor

United Media Qld Pty Ltd is a creative advertising and media company. We create impactful video content for social media, advertising campaigns, corporate presentations, and events. We are looking for a talented and versatile Videographer/Video Editor to join our team and bring our clients’ ideas to life through engaging video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms (social media, corporate videos, events, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, etc.).

• Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards.

• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots.

• Edit and produce videos using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).

• Add graphics, text overlays, sound effects, and music to enhance videos.

• Optimise videos for different platforms and aspect ratios (e.g., square, vertical, widescreen).

• Manage video files, maintain an organised archive, and ensure all content meets brand guidelines.

• Stay updated on video trends, editing techniques, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio of work.

• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).

• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and camera operation.

• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a creative team.

• Strong storytelling skills with attention to detail and pacing.

• Knowledge of colour grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics is highly desirable.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with photography and basic image editing (Photoshop, Lightroom).

• Familiarity with animation and motion graphics.

• Knowledge of social media video best practices (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

• Drone operation skills and CASA certification (if applicable).
