We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media, with expertise in both filming and post-production processes. This role requires proficiency in various video production software and tools, as well as a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. You will be responsible for creating engaging video content that aligns with our brand vision and resonates with our audience.Duties
- Plan, film, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts and storyboards for projects.
- Conduct post-production tasks such as color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics integration.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Conduct on-camera interviews and assist with photography tasks.
- Manage video archives and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Travel frequently for on-site production and coverage.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in videography and video editing to continually enhance skills and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in video production and editing.
- Proven experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and other relevant software within the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of post-production processes including video editing techniques, motion graphics creation, and sound design.
- Experience in filming with various types of cameras and equipment to capture high-quality footage.
- Knowledge of photography principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and quality.
- Drone pilot license or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of agriculture and digital storytelling is a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent travel including overnight
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk across uneven terrain
- Valid Mississippi driver’s license
- Live in the Jackson, Mississippi metropolitan area
