Full-time / Hybrid Position

Working as part of our marketing team, you’ll collaborate with other creatives to plan, capture, and produce

content that educates, inspires, and builds trust with our audience of homeowners, designers, and contractors. As part of this team, you’ll use your skills in video production, photography, editing, and storytelling to create a wide range of content — from DIY tutorials and process walk-throughs to product photography, promotional campaigns and brand features. Together, our goal is to produce consistent, compelling content that aligns with our digital marketing strategy and supports our mission to craft enduring excellence. This position will be a combination of on-site and work-from-home, and therefore requires a highly motivated and self-disciplined individual with excellent communication and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold Cabinet Joint’s mission and values
  • Collaborate with fellow videographers, photographers, the marketing team, and

shop staff to brainstorm, storyboard, and plan shoots.

  • Film content both in studio and on location, occasionally at customer sites
  • Capture high-quality photography for products, lifestyles scenes, team

headshots, and marketing assets

  • Operate and maintain video, lighting, and audio equipment as part of a shared

production workflow

  • Edit footage and images using industry-standard software
  • Enhance projects with brand graphics, motion design, sound, and closed

captioning

  • Optimize content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, WordPress, print,

etc), ensuring correct formatting, aspect ratios, and metadata.

  • Contribute to asset management by organizing, tagging, and archiving video files.
  • Stay current with industry tools and visual marketing trends, and share best

practices with the team

  • Support additional marketing initiatives as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience & Education: Either 1+ years of professional experience in video

production or a related field OR a bachelor’s degree in film, media, or a related discipline

  • Technical: Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,

DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with design tools (Photoshop, After Effects, Canva). Working knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting setups, and audio equipment. Understanding of post-production workflows. Product photography experience is a plus

  • Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of basic marketing principles. Knowledge

of SEO and content marketing best practices. Copywriting skills for scripts, captions, and video descriptions. WordPress experience is a plus

  • Culture: Self-motivated, critical thinker and problem-solver, works well both

individually and with a team, adapts well to an ever-changing environment

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability

to collaborate effectively across teams. Receptive to feedback

  • Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the

ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Portfolio required: Strong portfolio demonstrating video storytelling, editing, and

photography skills
