This role is full-time based in our office/studio in Dee Why on the Northern Beaches.

What is the role?

As a key member of our small but growing team, the Junior Videographer / Editor will be responsible for a variety of duties including pre-production, video shooting, post-production editing and working collaboratively with clients to formulate creative ideas.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Cinematography including camera operating, lighting, audio and gimbals (Sony / Canon / RED)

• Post production using primarily DaVinci Resolve (Adobe Suite also beneficial)

• Provide input into the storytelling process and aesthetic style as required

• Producing capabilities built on outstanding communication skills and attention to detail

• Being a willing team player, and looking to grow with our brand into the future

Responsibilities:

• Organization and ability to handle multiple projects at once

• Ability to create outstanding video content aligned with the brand tone of voice – both engaging and commercial

• High-level skills in video production (use of lighting, sound recording and camera work)

• High-level skills in post-production, and audio mixing.

• Motion graphic and compositing skills with experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve

What you need

You have a passion for storytelling, an interest in social & online marketing and an innate drive to get to the heart of a client’s needs in order to tell their story as well as nailing key messages and delivering creative that performs.

• Practice hands-on experience in video production and editing

• Photography, copywriting and social media skills are a bonus

• A Great Attitude and Team Player

• Valid Driver’s License and Transportation
