Big Dog Builds has a media engine that rivals many production houses—dedicated studio, podcast suite, full‑time editors and millions of eyes on every post. 

We’re looking for a high‑energy Videographer who can own the camera, the NAS and the vibe, capturing every truck that rolls out of our workshop and turning it into must‑watch content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and beyond.

Your Role: Capture, Craft, Publish

You will:

• Shoot daily stills & handovers – Every truck that leaves the shed gets the hero treatment.

• Film long‑form build series – Document key milestones from frame‑in to final sign‑off.

• Run podcast & BTS shoots – Operate a 3‑cam studio, grab candid workshop magic.

• Prepare assets for editors – Generate proxies, tag metadata, archive to the NAS (no files lost—ever).

• Post & engage – Create thumbnails/shorts, schedule content, jump into comments twice a day.

Average day: 60 % behind the lens, 25 % organising data, 15 % publishing & community.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You

• Have 3 + years shooting & editing fast‑turnaround content (YouTube, brand socials, docu‑series).

• Can direct talent—from trades to influencers—while keeping vibes high.

• Are meticulous with file names, folder structures and checksum verification (yes, you’re that organised).

• Know your way around Premiere, Bridge, Media Encoder and a gimbal.

• Love the smell of diesel, CNC swarf and freshly powder‑coated steel.

Bonus Points if you hold a CASA drone licence, can colour‑grade in DaVinci or have shot automotive before.
