About the role

Cutdomos Hair Studio, an innovative hair salon located in Taman Sentosa Johor, is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor/Videographer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for crafting captivating visual content that showcases our salon’s services and brand identity. Your work will play a vital role in driving our digital marketing initiatives and engaging our growing audience.

What you’ll be doing

1. Shooting and editing high-quality videos for social media, website, and other marketing channels

2. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop creative video concepts and storyboards

3. Ensuring videos adhere to the company’s brand guidelines and style

4. Editing and post-processing video footage, including colour grading, sound design, and special effects

5. Staying up-to-date with the latest video production trends and technologies

6. Providing support and guidance to other team members on video-related projects

What we’re looking for

1. Experience in video editing and videography or is interested it this skills and doesn’t have job experience are both welcome

2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

3. Strong storytelling and creative skills, with the ability to translate ideas into engaging video content

4. Excellent technical skills in areas like colour grading, sound design, and visual effects

5. Familiarity with content creation for social media platforms and digital marketing

6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

7. Passion for the hair and beauty industry, with an eye for visual aesthetics
