Video Editor / Producer (Corporate, Advertising & Social Content)

$70K–$80K + super | Remote + Flexible | Equipment & Internet Provided

Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane preferred

We’re hiring a skilled video editor who’s ready to also expand into producing.

This is a hybrid role: 60% editing, 40% producing. You’ll lead edits, manage shoots (occasionally on-set), and help shape stories for our clients across Australia. It’s varied, flexible, and you won’t be micromanaged. Just good work, real stories, and a team that’s got your back.

The Role

• Full-time with flexible hours

• Work from home (we cover internet + provide gear)

• Collaborate with our founder, production assistant, and freelance national crew

• Edit projects and oversee shoots (mostly corporate, not-for-profit, and brand videos)

• Step into producing — client liaison, shoot logistics, creative direction & attending occasional shoots

What You’ll Be Doing:

Editor – 60%

• Edit interviews with b-roll and narrative flow

• Syncing, colour grading, sound mixing, motion titles

• Use Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop

• Versioning and managing backups

Producer – 40%

• Manage timelines, bookings, crew and call sheets

• Liaise with clients and run shoots

• Give feedback to freelancers and manage revisions

• Budget and manage production spend

• Attend occasional shoots to direct or assist

You’ll Need

• 5+ years editing experience (agency, production, or freelance)

• Solid communication and time management

• Based in Aus (ideally in Brisbane, Melb, or Sydney as this is where most of our shoots are)

• Working With Children Check (or willing to get one — we’ll help/pay for it)

• Drivers licence / access to transport (reimbursing any expenses)

• Access to fast home internet (we’ll cover the cost)

• Motion graphics / animation skills

• Experience on corporate or brand shoots

• Client-facing or directing experience

• Willingness to travel occasionally

• Photo editing skills
