Role: Video Editor

Department: Creative Production, Performance Creatives, Content Strategy
Reports to: Operations Manager
Core Responsibility: Create scroll-stopping video assets that drive engagement, conversions, and growth for our clients through data-led creative production.
KPI: Creative performance metrics, Client satisfaction

What You’ll Own

Creative Excellence & Innovation

  • Edit compelling video assets for DTC advertising campaigns across multiple platforms and formats
  • Transform raw footage from our in-house videographer into scroll-stopping ad creatives
  • Create testimonial-style creative assets that authentically showcase client success stories
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams on creative ideation to generate breakthrough concepts

Multi-Brand Portfolio Management

  • Manage multiple projects for different brands simultaneously, delivering quality edits on time with meticulous attention to detail
  • Follow clear creative briefs while bringing your unique perspective to enhance the final output
  • Ensure all client needs are met while maintaining consistent quality across your portfolio
  • Edit organic footage for Public Nectar’s own marketing and brand promotion

Strategic Collaboration & Growth

  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing unique perspectives for cohesive and effective creative approaches
  • Continuously experiment with new ideas and strategies to create better results for clients
  • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends and best practices in video editing and digital marketing
  • Work closely with the creative team to align on strategy and push creative boundaries

What You Bring

Essential Experience

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in digital marketing or advertising
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work without requiring constant supervision
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to creative challenges

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Understanding of video formats, codecs, and platform-specific requirements
  • Experience with motion graphics and basic animation techniques
  • Knowledge of colour correction, audio editing, and post-production workflows
  • Familiarity with social media video specifications and best practices

  • Previous experience in the eCommerce or D2C advertising space

  • Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animations
