Why This Role Matters

Creshendo is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to support our growing library of visual stories, interviews, and social media content. From short-form TikToks to longer impact videos, your editing will help bring migrant narratives to life across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who wants to use their craft to support storytelling with soul, care, and clarity.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Storytelling and MarComms teams, shaping content that is ethical, emotional, and designed to connect with global audiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Substack
• Add subtitles, music, transitions, and other enhancements to elevate the final product
• Collaborate with the team on creative direction, visual tone, and storytelling structure
• Ensure videos are optimized for each platform (aspect ratios, hooks, pacing)
• Support ongoing campaigns, interviews, and series with timely edits

Who This Role Is For

You might be a great fit if you:

• Have experience editing short-form video content for social media
• Are fluent in tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Understand how to hook, pace, and structure a story for digital viewers
• Care about tone, context, and the dignity of how stories are told
• Are organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a remote, async team

Bonus if you have animation or motion graphics experience—but not required.
