About FYAR

FYAR.org is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth through creative expression, workforce development, and community events. We are expanding our digital reach and are seeking a skilled Video Editor to help grow our YouTube presence.

Responsibilities

  1. Edit raw video footage from events, interviews, and performances into polished, engaging YouTube-ready content.
  2. Add graphics, titles, captions, and transitions that align with FYAR brand.
  3. Optimize video formatting, sound, and pacing for YouTube and other digital platforms.
  4. Collaborate with the communications team to ensure storytelling aligns with campaign goals.
  5. Deliver edits on agreed timelines, maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience editing videos for YouTube or digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Knowledge of YouTube formatting, aspect ratios, and export settings.
  • Ability to add simple motion graphics, lower thirds, and subtitles.
  • Creative eye for pacing, music integration, and audience engagement.
