Video Editor

Job Description:

• Oversee the post-production process, managing all aspects of video editing, sound design, and visual effects

coordination to ensure the project meets creative and technical standards.

• Work with the director and creative team to implement editing decisions, ensuring smooth transitions and

alignment with the original storytelling vision.

• Manage the coordination of footage assembly, sound mixing, and color grading, ensuring everything is

integrated seamlessly for the final product.

• Supervise and organize the integration of graphic templates, transitions, and effects, ensuring each element

supports the narrative and aesthetic vision.

• Coordinate with editors and sound designers, ensuring timelines are met and feedback is efficiently

incorporated into edits.

• Ensure the accuracy and alignment of subtitles, adjusting content as necessary, while managing any changes

needed throughout the post-production process.

• Coordinate and manage post-production schedules, ensuring all tasks and deliverables are completed on time,

while addressing any issues, adjustments, or delays that may arise.

• Track and report progress to key stakeholders, facilitating smooth communication and ensuring that feedback

is efficiently implemented throughout the production stages.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in video editing, freelance or in-house.

• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools like Adobe After Effects.

• Experience with social media platforms and creating content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

• Basic sound design and background music selection skills.
