The Opportunity

Ausmed has been awarded federal funding under the Support for NDIS Providers Grants Program to build the Know My Rights: The NDIS National Microlearning Platform. This national initiative will deliver a modern, accessible and co-designed microlearning product that empowers people with disability and their supporters to understand and act on their rights within the NDIS.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor and Animator to join our Content team. You will work closely with the Senior Learning Designer and be instrumental in developing engaging, accessible and impactful microlearning experiences for diverse learner cohorts including people living with disability, their supporters, and sector professionals.

You’ll join a passionate, talented team that values innovation, inclusion and impact. We work flexibly, hybrid-remotely and collaboratively to develop education that matters. This is a full time, ongoing role.

About You

You’re someone who genuinely wants to impact lives by developing educational content that empowers people. You are excited by the opportunity to deliver something with national significance.

  • A degree in film, animation, interactive media or equivalent

  • Professional experience working with Adobe Creative Suite Products, including Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, and Photoshop

  • Experience creating graphic and web/digital designs, 2D animations, and motion graphics, particularly in an educational or social impact context.

  • Strong knowledge of video editing techniques in order to create accessible and engaging content 

  • Confident ability working with a range of cameras, audio, lighting and greenscreen setups during filming

  • Ability to create content for diverse audiences, including people living with disability including a strong understanding of accessibility in digital content.

  • High attention to detail, organised and commitment to meeting deadlines

  • Values collaborative work and maintains a growth mindset 

Nice to have (but not essential!)

  • Lived experience of disability or experience working closely with people with disability in co-design or educational settings

  • Familiarity with the NDIS

  • Experience in creating content for online learning platforms or microlearning environments.
