*ABOUT ACOTRO*The Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy Regulatory Organizations (ACOTRO) is the national organization of occupational therapy regulators in Canada. ACOTRO?s goal is to promote consistency and excellence in regulating occupational therapy across Canada.As part of its mandate, ACOTRO oversees and administers the Substantial Equivalency Assessment System (?SEAS?) program. The SEAS program provides a single, centralized process for the assessment of educational qualifications and competencies of internationally educated occupational therapists (?IEOTs?). SEAS determines whether the education and competencies of IEOTs are substantially equivalent to Canadian-educated occupational therapists. SEAS is a high-stakes credentialing program, and those IEOTs determined to be substantially equivalent can apply for licensure to practice occupational therapy in Canada.*About this Amazing Opportunity *ACOTRO is now embarking on an initiative to enhance, streamline, and strengthen the SEAS program with leading innovative assessment solutions and navigational support for IEOTs. ACOTRO is seeking an experienced, full-time, contract Project Manager who has a responsive and welcoming approach in project-related interactions. The Project Manager will report to the ACOTRO SEAS Manager and work collaboratively with all ACOTRO team members and partners.*Your Responsibilities*· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, translating strategic objectives into actionable activities.· Provide communications, project and change management expertise to the SEAS team.· Manage and facilitate the completion of all project activities and deliverables, including project charters, plans, schedules, status reports, issue and risk logs, change requests, and resource allocation.· Monitor and manage project deliverables, issues, and risks to ensure successful delivery within defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.· Plan for and develop procurement documentation (e.g., Request for Proposals); manage process to procure project consultants and vendors; oversee activities of and support project consultants and vendors.· Develop communications plans and draft key partner and public communications.· Plan and facilitate project team and other meetings, as applicable.· Support financial reporting as needed.· Build and maintain strong, collaborative, and respectful relationships with internal and external key partners, internal SEAS team, and senior leadership.· Delegate tasks as may be required to ensure timely completion.· Demonstrate a collaborative approach and make confident, well-informed decisions.· Complete other project management tasks and responsibilities, as required.*What you Bring to the Role*· Minimum of six (6) years of experience delivering projects across the full project management life cycle preferably in an association, non-profit environment, and/or public sector.· Knowledge of and/or experience working in the regulatory environment is an asset.· Bachelor’s Degree in a health system, business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in key areas of accountability.· Certification and/or demonstrated experience in project management (PMI) and change management methodologies (ACMP / Prosci) is desirable.· Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate in a professional and engaging manner.· Excellent organizational and planning skills, time management skills and ability to work under pressure.· Outstanding critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, deductive and inductive reasoning skills.· Exceptional creativity skills.· Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intermediate skill in Excel.· Models the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and customer service and maintains discretion and confidentiality.· High degree of initiative and ability
