Tyler Perry’s New Series Casting Call

That’s right, Tyler Perry’s series Sistas has been renewed for another season and the show’s extras casting directors are seeking paid extras in Atlanta.
The casting notice for the paid background actors needed is listed below. Please only apply if you are local to the Atlanta area where Sistas films and you match the descriptions required.

Tyler Perry’s Sistas airs on the BET network and as generally the rule with Tyler Perry shows, it is written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry.  Sistas follows a small group of black women, single black women who are not actually related, but share some common ground within their friendship.  The show has a focus on the relationships within the group as well as some of their outside relationships with others.

It’s the ups and downs of modern life, which includes careers, friendships, romances, and even social media. The comedy-drama series features Andi Barnes, an ambitious divorce lawyer, Danni King, a funny and fearless airport employee, Karen Mott, a street-smart hair salon owner, and Sabrina Hollins, a smart and stylish bank teller. The TV show takes viewers on a roller coaster ride of emotions and moments that epitomize “squad goals.”

NOW CASTING PAID FEMALE and MALE EXTRAS, Ages 18+, All Ethnicities to portray extras for Tyler Perry Studios hit show “SISTAS” Season 6, in Atlanta, GA.

We are casting for the following specific extras for these scenes:
– RESTAURANT
– AIRPORT
– HAIR SALON
Race: ALL RACES
Age: 18 and up
Rate: $90/8 + $25 Covid Test
Prelim Call Time: TBD (Please have open availability on day of interest)

WE ASK THAT WHEN BOOKED AS A PAID EXTRA, YOU BE PREPARED TO WORK AT LEAST A 12HR WORK DAY AS WE DON’T KNOW HOW LONG YOU WILL BE SPECIALLY ON SET… SO PLEASE HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY FOR THE DAY YOU SUBMIT FOR.The rate for extras on this production is $90 for 8hrs of work (Paid time in a half each hour after 8hrs), which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.
