You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.This Spring 2026 Trainee position is from the January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 to June 26th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on your schedule) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This type of opportunity will jump-start your career and prepare you for a career in the desired field. This is not a remote role. A hybrid work option may or may not be available.Columbia Pictures is a film studio and film distributor that is a division Sony Pictures. The globally oriented studio has produced and financed some of the industry’s most notable franchises including Spider-Man, Jumanji, Bad Boys, Peter Rabbit, Men In Black, Ghostbusters, and Venom.Responsibilities:General administrative tasks including phone coverage, meeting preparation, and running occasional errandsPreparing and reviewing pitch materials and contributing to creative projectsWork closely with executive assistants and other team members to support day-to-day operations.Additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree requiredMust have prior internships at production companies/studiosStrong communication skills – both written and verbalProactive, organized, and able to manage shifting prioritiesWilling to assist with a range of tasks, from creative input to administrative supportAble to take direction and ask clarifying questions when neededComfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with discretionHighly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work well under pressure in a voluminous deadline-oriented departmentFamiliarity with Mac/PC systems and basic programs like Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Film or an equivalent field of study preferredCandidate should be passionate about the film industry.Experience working in an office environment and/or dealing with customer relations.
