We are currently looking for talents in our upcoming short film.

Project Name: Pizza Boys

Project Length: Short Film (4 minutes)

Director: Gurmeet Singh

Remunerations: Honorarium, Non Union

Project Genre: Drama

Audition Location: St. James Campus (Building E), 230 Richmond St E, Studio 228

Shooting Locations: Toronto (GTA)

Compensation: $60/day + 2 meals + Transportation + Personal Demo Reel/Video Portfolio upon request (including new material filmed during production).

SYNOPSIS

Alex picks up his younger brother Daniel and decides who has to get to their destination first. Priorities collide which then escalates the situation ultimately damaging their relationship.

CHARACTER BIOS:
Name: Alex

Ethnicity: Open to all, East Asian Preferable

Age: 25-30

Requirements: MUST have a valid Drivers Licence.

Alex, the older brother has never been the best at dealing with life’s many curve balls despite trying his best.

Age: 20-24

Being the younger sibling, Daniel feels he is now responsible for his family’s future.

AUDITION DATES

Wednesday Mar 18th, 2020: 3:00pm – 7:30pm

Thursday Mar 19th, 2020: 6:15pm – 8:30pm

Friday Mar 20th, 2020: 11:15am – 7:30pm

(Please note all auditions will be given a specific time within these windows. If you are not available those days, we can meet you the weekend after – or you can submit a self-tape). Shooting will be a 1-day, 6-hour shoot; the exact date will be confirmed upon auditions completion.

NOTE: Production will be taking place sometime between March 30th and April 3rd.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1) Headshot(s): up to three pictures.

2) Resume: Highlights
a) your acting skills,

b) ALL your past experience and/or training and

c) include a brief bio where you describe your background.

3) Demo Reel, Video Portfolio or Self-Tape showcasing your best work and your range in a short video (up to 5 minutes in length). We’re not looking for production value.

Submissions DEADLINE is Sunday, March 22nd, 2020.

If we cannot audition you on time, but believe you are the right fit, we will find what’s best and make time in the following week. If you see this post later than the deadline – but earlier than March 20th – we still encourage you to send a self-tape.

Please, specify your approximate location (e.g. Downtown Toronto, North York, etc.), but DO NOT include any additional material other than what mentioned above.

Selected candidates will receive an email notification by Sun March 24th, 2020 – 10:00 PM.
