Logline: That Warming Cold Feeling is a drama following Joy, a young adult who is trying to find happiness after the death of her boyfriend. She must face family drama, and an emotional manifestation of her late boyfriend in order to overcome her need to hold on to her past.
Joy | Age: 21-23 | Female | Open Ethnicity
A guarded individual suffering from prolonged grief after the death of her boyfriend. She used to be energetic and sociable, a state she is wanting to return to. Each step forward feels like a mountain to her, but she’s willing to take it one step at a time. She is hard working but reclusive.
*Must be comfortable with club dancing, including grinding with another actor*
*Dance experience beneficial but not necessary*
Greg | Age: 22 -24 | Male | Open Ethnicity
Others would assume that he’s a “Frat Guy,” but his true character is a mature young adult who is caring, non-judgemental, and sympathetic to others. Manages a club. Sympathetic to Joy.
*Must be comfortable with club dancing, including grinding with another actress*

Alex | Age: 28-32 | Open Gender | Open Ethnicity
A professional businessperson and the older sibling to Joy. Aloof, yet protective of Joy. Acts as a mediator between Joy and their Mother. Conscious of their family’s conflicts and wants to prevent their family from ripping apart.
Sasha| Age: 21 – 25| Open Gender | Open Ethnicity
Extremely sociable and free-spirited. Isn’t afraid to give a nudge, or a push in the right direction. If Sasha meets with an unmovable object, Sasha wins. Joy’s co-worker.
Mom | Age: 50-60 | Female | Open Ethnicity
Appearing harsh and cold. Tries her best to be helpful and caring, but comes off as passive-aggressive and confrontational. Wants Joy to return to her former self, even if it ruins their relationship.
Dad | Age: 50-60 | Male | Open Ethnicity
The “Dad Joke” type of father. The type to be criticized for only being there for the good times. Doesn’t handle tough issues well.
