*AFI STUDENT FILM ABOUT FAMILY SEPARATION ON SOUTHERN BORDER*
Unpaid
Adult actors must be UNION, but minors may be NONUNION if they have a working permit.
LOCATION: Soundstage on AFI’s campus at 2021 N Western Ave.
Casting for two nonspeaking but prominently seen roles:
*PHOTOGRAPHER* (20s-50s, any gender) – A photographer called in to do a photo-op for the president during a visit to the detention center.
- Photographer MUST BE AVAILABLE on Mon Nov 11.
- Character will receive prominent closeup.
*YOUNG DETAINEE* – Casting for roles of the various latino children and teenagers (can be young adults who play teens) being kept in a facility, separated from their parents.
- Every actor cast will be given a named role in the credits, and given a bit of backstory about their character to play onscreen. High likelihood of closeup.
- MUST BE AVAILABE: Sat 11/9 through Mon 11/11.
