Student Casting in LA

Project: SHE SAID / SHE SAID

Logline: She Said / She Said is a character driven dramedy based in the Los Angeles live storytelling community. A storyteller suffering from writer’s block finds her unique voice and comes to terms with her abusive childhood when she hears a younger woman tell a story eerily similar to her own.

Characters:

[EXTRAS – BAR SCENE] – 21+, individuals of all ethnicities, genders, backgrounds, abilities, and sizes. These extras will be in a bar and will shoot for the majority of the day on 11/02 and 11/03. Individuals with a background in comedy, improv, or storytelling are beneficial. NO ACTING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. A creative spirit and collaborative energy are imperative.

These extras will be at a book signing event and will shoot for a majority of the day on October 28, 2019. Individuals with a background in comedy, improv, or storytelling are beneficial. NO ACTING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. A creative spirit and collaborative energy are imperative.

Notes:

⁃ No auditions will be held.

⁃ Demo reels are welcomed but not required.

⁃ While this is a micro-budget project, we are building an inclusive and diverse cast and crew who treat each other with respect and kindness – and extras are valued members of our team.

Filming Dates & Times:

10/28 (book signing event)

11/02 and 11/03 (bar scene).

Please plan to be on set all day.
