Your New Role…

The Global Product and Design group is responsible for the global streaming platform that supports all the video products our fans love. Part of the Core Product division within GP&D, the Content Experience Operations team is committed to creating premium experiences that are inspiring and intuitive.

Our area supports the delivery of high quality and performance for every customer while driving efficiency and adapting to meet the evolving needs of both the consumer and the business.  We seek to advance our merchandising, content planning & in-stream promotion team practices by improving workflows, collaborating with stakeholders for enhanced technology and tooling, and advising on strategies to best surface our content priorities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Specialist will coordinate Live Experience planning and develop our plans to improve Content Inventory Management processes. This is a highly collaborative position, requiring a trusted advisor who cultivates effective working relationships across various WBD stakeholders.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Standardizes the operationalization of Global Live Experience for HBO Max, partnering with multiple stakeholders to ideate the best Merchandising & Product UX approach that aligns with department goals and priorities.
  • Teams with the Content Inventory Management division to improve tooling and support project planning.
  • Works with Content Experience, Core Product, and Supply System team leads to identify new opportunities for efficiencies and improvement.
  • Identifies as a subject matter expert on Merchandising & Content Inventory Management tooling and provides advice and recommendations as needed.
  • Looks to discover how to improve GP&D workstreams with AI technology.
  • Implements and supports processes developed by our team at regional and product levels, ensuring consistency as we scale globally.
  • Interfaces with stakeholders to communicate team strategies, plans, and results.
  • Works with Analytics team to best further our practices from their findings.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Professional experience in project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communications.
  • Proficiency in digital editorial & content operations, workflows, and live event creation tools.
  • Ability to communicate critical information to all audiences, understanding necessary levels of detail.
  • Pursues efficiency of operations and workflows with attention to detail, prioritization, and thorough organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic combined with a cooperative and collaborative team-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish productive relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Passionate about all things content and the streaming customer experience.
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organizational environment.
  • Must be able and willing to travel worldwide to meet with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Office 365 power-user. Familiarity with Confluence, Airtable and Monday preferred. Experience using CMS tools with the ability to gain deep knowledge of their functionalities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including working knowledge of functions like VLOOKUP, filters, and pivot tables.
